PICO National Gathering of Clergy
October 23 - 25, 2017
JW Marriott
10 South West Street
Indianapolis, IN 46204

Begin: On Monday, October 23 at 4:30 pm with dinner at the JW Marriott
End: On Wednesday, October 25 at 3:00 pm

Purpose:

We expect more than 300 faith leaders, clergy and tribal elders to participate in this encounter, and several prominent national faith leaders will offer keynote addresses to anchor our dialogue.  This exciting convening will be a multi-faith, multi-racial dialogue intended to provoke reflection and spur action around what prophetic resistance needs to look like in this moment.  We will continue to develop a shared moral vision for the country we seek to build, and will intensify our collective work to build the political muscle needed to make it real.

Who should attend?

  • PICO clergy leaders who are building power at home, including millennial faith leaders, undocumented faith leaders, formerly incarcerated faith leaders.
  • Organizing staff who are building power with clergy.
  • Clergy allies, denominational leaders, and faith partners in the multi-faith movement for justice.
  • Movement partners, funders, members of PICO's scholars/theologians network.

The hope is that each federation will send a team of the director and at least ten (10) to fifteen (15) of our most powerful clergy leaders.
